Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Namibian Visa.
- Your original Rwandan passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the intended trip date. It should have at least one blank page for visa stamp.
- Visa application form filled in Block letters and duly signed.
- Two recent coloured passport-sized photographs that meet the visa photo specification.

Namibia Transit Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa allows Rwandans transit through Namibia to a third country. It allows a maximum stay of 3 days in Namibia.
- You can't visit friends and relatives with this visa.
- You are also not allowed to study or take up paid work in Namibia with this visa.
- If you are traveling with a minor, the original copy of the minor’s birth certificate should be provided along with a signed letter of consent.
- The onward flight ticket and a valid visa to your destination country must be provided.
- The transit visa costs $60 and takes a period of 5 working days to be processed.
Namibia Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Tourist visa is for Rwandans travelling to Namibia for sightseeing, visitation, relaxation and other recreational purposes.
- This visa allows you to visit friends and family while in Namibia.
- You're to provide a proof of accommodation that spans your stay in Namibia. This proof could be in the form of hotel reservation or an invitation letter from a host if you intend to stay with a Namibian.
- You're also required to present a valid means of identification of your host.
- For non-Rwandans, a residence permit is required for this visa application.
- Recent bank statement of the visa applicant is needed as proof that you can cater for your stay in Namibia.
- You're not allowed to take up paid employment with this visa.
- This visa is usually processed in 5 working days and it costs $70 for a single entry visa while the multiple entry visa costs $140.
- The visa is valid for a period of 90 days but can be extended for another 3 months from the Ministry of Home Affairs in Windhoek.
- You must obtain a permit to bring a pet into Namibia. The aplication for a permit must be submitted at the embassy no later than 3 days to intended travel date.

- This visa is for Rwandans travelling to Namibia for business activities in Namibia.
- With this visa, you can attend business-related events, meet up with business partners, negotiate and sign business contracts in the country.
- You can also set up a business with this visa.
- Non-Rwandans are required to provide a valid residence permit while applying for the business visa.
- A letter of introduction from your company in Rwanda detailing its business activities, financial responsibility covering the trip if any, your position and purpose of the trip is needed.
- An invitation letter from the host company in Namibia containing full details of your visit and affirmation of any financial responsibility.
- Both letters must be written on the respective companies letterhead.
- If there are any previous relations with the host company in Namibia, it's important that you show any documentation that affirms this business relationship.
- You are expected to leave Namibia before the expiration of your visa.
- This visa costs $90 and is usually processed in 5 working days.
- This visa allows a stay of up to 90 days but can be extended for another 3 months from the Ministry of Home Affairs in Windhoek.

What languages do they speak in Namibia?
