  • India citizens intending to visit Suriname should apply for the Surinam e-visa for a duration of 90 days.
  • Applicant can only visit the country for tourism purposes only. You are, therefore, to apply for the eTourist card when visiting Suriname.
  • To apply for the Surinam e-visa, you have to go to the Surinam Ministry of Foreign Affairs' website for your e-visa application procedure.
  • Your Surinam e-visa will take three days for its process and will be emailed to you once issued with these three days, providing you met all the requirements needed for the visa application.
  • You are to print out your visa application form and take it along with you when you are visiting the country.
  • To extend your visa staying period, you should get in touch with the Immigration Department of Suriname. However, this extension incurs a visa extension fee.
  • You are to provide an original international passport that valid for at least 6 months, and you should reserve a minimum of two blanked pages for necessary stampings.
  • Your country's national Identity card is required upon or before your arrival in the country.
  • Proof of hotel reservation or any other means of your accommodation in Suriname.
