Entry Requirements

  • India citizens can visit Macao for a stay of up to 30 days without a visa.
  • Intending visitors are required to provide a passport valid for the duration of stay.
  • Visitors are advised to leave at least one blank page of their passports for entry stamps.
  • There is a need for account declaration to prove financial capability to support visitor’s stay.
  • Although there are no vaccination certificates required to visit Macao, all visitors will be required to fill in a health declaration form as a precautionary action in order to prevent the outbreak of swine flu in the country.
  • All visitors entering Macao must have  return or onward tickets.
  • Visitors are advised to have as much as MOP 500 per day to cover the expenses of their visit, this can be presented in the form of a recent bank statement.
  • There are no restrictions on the foreign currency amount taken in and out of the country.
  • Foreign currencies and credit cards are not accepted for any kind of payment.
  • In Macao, the power plugs and sockets are of type D, M, G and F. The standard voltage is 220 V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz. You are, however, advised to always travel with an adapter for your gadgets.
