Basic Travel Requirements for Egyptians visiting Brazil

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Brazilian Visa.

  • Passport with a validity of at least 6 months from the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have at least two blank pages for the necessary stamp.

Brazil Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Applicants of the Brazil Tourist Visa are foreigners who have the intention of visiting the country for leisure and tourism.
  • This visa also allows foreign nationals to honor the invitation of their friends or relatives who hold permanent residence in the country.
  • Those traveling to visit their friends or relatives in Brazil must provide a letter of invitation from their host. The letter should introduce the applicant and state the relationship between the applicant and the host.
  • Foreigners in Brazil are allowed to attend and partake in festivals and events taking place in the country.
  • Holders of this visa are not permitted to receive payments for the services they render while they are in the country.
  • You are required to be in possession of the International Certificate of vaccination against yellow fever.
  • Applicants of this visa must have a clean criminal record. A police certificate stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is required.
  • If the applicant of this visa is under the age of 18 years, the unabridged original copy of the minor’s birth certificate is required.
  • Receipt of paid non-refundable visa application fee should be presented.

Brazil Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The main applicants of the Business Visa are business-oriented foreigners who have the intention of fostering business relationships with their partner companies.
  • During business meetings with your partners in Brazil, business contracts can be negotiated and signed.
  • Holders of this visa are allowed to attend trade fairs, conferences, and business seminars relating to their profession.
  • Applicants of this visa should a letter of invitation from the partner company in Brazil. The letter must be in Portuguese and must contain the valid contact information of the company.
  • If employed, a letter from the applicant’s employer in Egypt should be provided. The letter should be in English and must state the applicant’s job title, the purpose, and duration of the applicant’s stay in the company.
  • Proof of previous trade relations between the host company and the sponsoring company is required, if any.
  • International Certificate of vaccination against yellow fever is mandatory.
  • Criminal record stamped from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is required.
  • Proof of payment of visa application fee should be provided.
